Ensuring your health and safety
As we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, we work closely with local and provincial health authorities, Trans Mountain and the local community to ensure your safety during your stay at the lodge.
In early March, we activated our Pandemic Response plan. Our teams strictly adhere to safe physical distancing, handwashing and sanitizing guidelines. Guest rooms and public spaces are deep cleaned and sanitized daily. And we have heightened the safe food preparation and handling procedures for our kitchens. Self-serve food stations are closed, with many foods prepackaged to reduce touchpoints.
Covid-19
The health and safety of our workforce, their families and communities is Trans Mountain’s first priority in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. While each work location is unique, Trans Mountain and our construction contractors and camp operators are adopting government and company health and safety measures to protect our workforce on the ground and ensure work can safely continue.
We have been working diligently to ensure adherence to all advice and direction from government and health officials and maintain the uninterrupted and safe operation of the Trans Mountain pipeline system. We continue to revisit and update our plans and monitor implementation on a daily basis.
Trans Mountain’s COVID-19 protocols are in place, and the BC Public Health Order for Industrial Camps is being adhered to.
Masks must always be worn when you are in common areas of the camp.
